No overselling, no guesswork — just a Ac Repair crew that diagnoses it right the first time. Same-day appointments available across New Baden and the surrounding zip codes.
Call +1-866-805-8548 and describe what your system is doing — the symptoms help us send a tech prepared with the right parts.
You'll get a flat-rate quote before any repair work begins — no guessing what the final bill will look like.
Most repairs are completed same-visit, and we test the system before we leave to confirm it's actually holding.
Leonard HVAC was built by technicians who got tired of watching homeowners get oversold. We invest in ongoing training so our techs recognize a failing capacitor, a cracked heat exchanger, or a refrigerant leak before it turns into an emergency.
You won't find us buried under layers of call-center scripts — we're the crew that answers the phone at 2am when your furnace quits in the middle of a cold snap. Every job we run is backed by full liability coverage and current state licensing, and we keep that documentation available on request for every job, routine or emergency.
Being local matters more than most companies let on. That local knowledge shapes the parts we stock on the truck — it's the difference between a tech who's guessing and a tech who's seen your exact situation a hundred times before.
Ask around New Baden and you'll hear the same complaint about a lot of HVAC companies. That's the gap we built Leonard HVAC to close. We'd rather lose a job to a lower bid than win one by cutting corners on the diagnosis, because a customer who trusts us once tends to call us again — and New Baden is a small enough community that reputation travels fast.
Our office team is based locally too, not routed through an out-of-state call center that's never seen a New Baden rooftop unit. Our warranty and service history records stay attached to your address, so any future technician who visits already has the full picture.
Whether it's a mid-summer breakdown or a planned system replacement, our New Baden techs handle it with the same level of care.
Breakdowns rarely happen at a convenient time, which is exactly why our emergency line runs 24 hours a day. Our New Baden dispatch team prioritizes no-heat and no-cooling calls so a technician is diagnosing your system as fast as physically possible.
Once a technician is on-site, the goal is always a same-visit repair — most emergency calls in New Baden get resolved in a single trip, not a multi-day back-and-forth.
Not every repair call ends in a repair — sometimes the honest recommendation is a properly sized replacement. We walk New Baden homeowners through efficiency ratings and how they translate into real monthly savings before a single piece of equipment gets ordered.
Most installs in New Baden are completed in a single day, and we walk you through the new thermostat and any app controls before we leave.
A retail floor, a restaurant kitchen, or an office suite can't run without stable climate control. Our commercial division services rooftop units and package systems across New Baden, with service agreements built around your operating hours.
Property managers working with multiple New Baden locations can set up a standing account so every site gets consistent service history and pricing.
Most emergency breakdowns start as a small, ignorable warning sign months earlier. Beyond standard tune-ups, we also handle humidifier, dehumidifier, and air purifier installation for New Baden households that want more than just temperature control.
Maintenance plan members in New Baden get scheduling reminders automatically, so tune-ups don't fall through the cracks during a busy season.
This is the standard every New Baden technician on our team is held to.
If the same issue returns within the warranty period, we come back and fix it at no additional labor cost.
If a competitor's written quote for the same scope of work is genuinely lower, ask us about it.
Our office follows up after major repairs and installs to confirm everything is holding.
Catching these signs early usually means a same-day repair instead of an emergency call at the worst possible moment.
Rattling during startup often means a component has worked itself loose and needs tightening before it causes real damage.
Weak airflow from the vents often traces back to a clogged filter, a failing blower motor, or leaking ductwork.
A system working harder than it should to hit the same temperature shows up directly on your utility bill.
A system that won't hold a steady cycle is often fighting a sizing issue, a thermostat problem, or a refrigerant imbalance.
Chemical odors may signal a refrigerant leak, which requires a licensed technician to handle safely.
We'll always tell you honestly when a repair is the better call versus when it isn't.
We explain diagnostic fees and repair estimates before authorizing work.
Dispatchers give you a realistic arrival window instead of a vague "sometime today".
Parts and labor are backed by warranty terms explained in plain language.
Our techs recognize brand-specific quirks instead of learning your system on the job.
We explain what failed, why it failed, and what the options are.
We'll walk you through what's actually available before you decide.
Every review below reflects an actual service call in the New Baden area.
"Our AC quit on the hottest weekend of the year and they had a tech out within a couple of hours. Fixed on the first visit and explained everything in terms I could actually understand."
"Scheduled a fall tune-up and they caught a cracked part before it became a real problem. Techs are always polite, always on time, and clean up after themselves."
"Had a full system replacement done and it was the smoothest home project I've had in years. New system is noticeably quieter and our energy bill actually dropped."
"Our restaurant's rooftop unit went down on a Friday night and they had someone out fast. Documentation for our records was thorough and easy to file."
"I appreciated that they didn't try to sell me a bigger unit than I needed. Installation crew was in and out in a day and left the space cleaner than they found it."
"Called at 11pm during a heat wave and honestly didn't expect anyone to pick up, let alone show up. This is the company I'm saving in my phone now."
None of these are unusual or embarrassing — they're just the normal wear and tear that comes with running a system through New Baden's seasonal swings.
New Baden's seasonal swings put real stress on a system that isn't maintained regularly. Before the coldest stretch of the year, a heating system benefits from a full safety inspection, checking the heat exchanger, ignition system, and airflow to catch any issue that could turn into a no-heat emergency.
Clearing debris, leaves, and overgrown landscaping away from an outdoor condenser unit gives it room to breathe and keeps it running efficiently. None of this replaces a professional tune-up, but it does reduce the wear that leads to premature breakdowns between visits.
We also service package units common on manufactured and modular homes throughout the New Baden area. If your system was installed by a different company entirely, that's not a problem — we service equipment regardless of who originally put it in, and we'll pull the model and serial information to confirm parts compatibility before any repair begins.
